Sales script to raise capital

Description

This is the same script we use to conduct meeting with investors over the phone or in-person.

Having listened to, or made, thousands of pitches for various different companies I can say that those that really stood out to me had a few things in common.

1. The presentation was wrapped in a story with a captivating narrative.
2. I was able to easily understand the business case – either because I had experience, or because the presenter was able to bridge that gap.

One of the keys to raising capital is to be prepared.

Stories are like a trojan horse for ideas.

Using stories to share more about your deal is highly effective, and often the difference between success and failure.

A good story outlines the plan (what you are doing), the process (how you are doing it) and introduces the team (with who you are doing it).

The script will also teach you how to structure the entire meeting, what to say, what questions to ask, and how to pitch.
